Attention Parents:

We pride ourselves at Northside Pediatrics on providing care for our patients even after hours through our nurse call service. As with everything these days, the cost of providing this service is increasing. Our nurse call service is increasing our fees to $20 per patient/parent call.

Currently we absorb that cost, however we have noticed over the past couple of months that the number of non-urgent calls is increasing dramatically. If your child is sick or there are concerns that cannot wait until we reopen, please continue to call the nurse call line. However, please DO NOT call for appointment changes, medication refills, or any call that can wait until the morning. If we deem the call to be non-urgent, we are going to have to pass the cost of the call onto the patient. This was a very hard decision for us to make. We hope that you understand.
